Office 365 Saturday in Adelaide

ICYMI – O365 Saturday (Formerly SharePoint Saturday) happened on the weekend (21/9)

For this year’s line-up we had:

  • Introduction to Microsoft Flow – Chris Grist (KKiT)
  • Bringing Human Emotion into Workflow Automation to Drive Customer Success – Chris Ellis (Nintex)
  • Introduction to Microsoft PowerApps – Russ Norton (3grow)
  • My Favourite SPFx Solutions – Colin Gardner (KKiT/Kaboodle)
  • ThorApps BI Service and ListSync service apps to demo a Customer Support management site – Maria Vieira/Adrian Bear (ThorApps)

Door prizes saw the usual Xbox One (courtesy of ThorApps) and 3grow training discount vouchers (yay I won one), as well as a pair of Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones (courtesy of Nintex).
Again thank you to the presenters and sponsors for making the event happen~

Disappointingly, it was broken to us that only Adelaide and Sydney had a O365/M365 Saturday organised for this year.

My first O365 Saturday was in 2017, and that was big enough for there to be 2 streams of presentations to be going on at the same time (as well as some swag).
Last year the amount of presentations dropped and attendance was significantly lower, however this year’s event saw an almost full room!

I understand Adelaide is smaller, but in order to make O365 Saturday great again I will do my part for the Tech Community in driving awareness and investment into this annual event.

Colin Gardner is the state representative for this program, as a call to action if you are interested in presenting or sponsoring this event in any way please contact Colin via email.

You can also keep track of events for 365 Saturdays on Meetup.
